Prof. Kalpana Deshmukh, Head of Humanities Dept., has completed First Master Degree in Zoology Animal Physiology with Merit Scholarship at PG. She is credited with Second Master Degree in English Literature and her next Degree of ‘Master in Philosophy in English Literature’, from PGTD, Nagpur University. She has an excellent academic record of 33 years of teaching. The author has published a good number of Research Papers in National and International Conferences, Seminars, and Journals with ISSN and ISBN. Remarkably, her Research Paper was well appreciated at ‘Global Conference’, Mansfield College, Oxford University, U.K. She is a Life Member of ISTE, Delhi. She is the recipient of Dr. Radhakrishna Shikshak Ratna Award. She has represented University & State Tournaments as a Captain of Hockey and Basket-ball teams.
‘Poems and Short Stories’ constructed by her are published in IIT-Roorkee’s “The Indian Journal of English Studies”. In her service tenure, she has received many Letters of Appreciation for authoring 20+ Course Books. She was felicitated at the hands of Principal for compiling Copy-right MCQ-Que-Bank and it’s Solution for GET, IELTS, GRE, TOEFL, etc. She has arranged many Workshops on Faculty Development. She has a good record as a Resource Person at State and National level Institutes and Jury Member for ‘Engineering Academic Competitions’. She has chaired a Coordinatorship for ‘Teacher Guardian Cell’, ‘Students’ Counseling Cell’, ‘DC- Students’ Cell’ and ‘SHR-Committee’. A Memento of Recognition was conferred upon her for her excellence in conducting Skill Development Sessions for all over India’s Air Force Schools’ Teachers. She has worked on the Advisory Board of Curriculum Development Program, of MSBTE-Mumbai, for ‘G’-Scheme and Autonomous Institute, Nagpur.
As a Project Coordinator, she has fetched AICTE MODROBS GRANT for Language Laboratory. She received MSBTE’s Travel Grant Incentive and an Incentive from Management for ‘Out-of-the Box Performer’ and ‘An Influencer’. She was accoladed as ‘An Initiator’ in preparing “English Language Proficiency Module” for training students for Campus Recruitment. She is the recipient of Honour Code Certificate of IIT-Bombay for her Exceptional Performance in Training Program on Technical Communication.
