About Author

Dr. Avinash D. Bholay began his teaching career in 1985 at Jankidevi Bajaj Science College, Wardha and served till 1994. Since last fifteen years he is a faculty member and coordinator for the P.G. Microbiology and Biotechnology Department of the K.T.H.M College, Nashik. After completing M.Sc in Microbiology in 1985 with merit from Nagpur University, he joined the project at P. G. Biochemistry and Microbiology Department and National Environmental Engineering Research institute, NEERI, Nagpur, as a research fellow and received his Ph.D degree in 1992. During this period he has also successfully completed D.M.L.T; M.A (Pub. Adm.); D.B.M (Gold Medalist) and LL.B from R.T.M Nagpur University. He has worked as research fellow in V.P. Chest Institute and National Institute of Communicable Diseases at Delhi. During the period 1994-2000, he worked in Citric India Ltd., Nashik, as Fermentation Production Manager and Consultant to industries for Effluent Treatment Plants. He has shouldered the responsibilities of Chairmanship and Coordinatorship of Board of Examinations, S.P. Pune University, Pune, in P.G Microbiology and Biotechnology for many years. He is also a visiting faculty and consulting Microbiologist to many professional institutes of repute. He has published and presented more than seventy five research papers in National and International research journals. He has also guided many M.Phil and Ph.D students as recognized Research Guide in Microbiology and Environmental Science, S.P. Pune University, Pune. He is regular member of various Medical and Scientific associations and societies.
