About Authors

Dr. Deepa Ramane is a distinguished associate professor with a remarkable blend of effective administrator, highly regarded educator,an innovative researcher, having more than 30 years of teaching proficiency. Her outstanding academic credentials include awardee of Ph.D., the gold medallist in Master of Science program, and third rank holder in Bachelor of Science degree from Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). Following three years of industrial experience as a research and development engineer, she started her teaching career at Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute in 1995. In 2014, she joined Sinhgad College of Scienceas an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Electronics, and currently holds the position of Vice-Principal. Dr. Ramane has over 40 research papers in international and national journals and conferences, 24 books (including 1 international, 4 national, and 19 at the district level) to her credit. She has successfully organized more than 50 national and state-level technical, NEP implementation related, personality/soft skill development related conferences or workshops. She is actively involved in the design, implementation, and evaluation of curricula for SPPU and various autonomous colleges as a member of the Board of Studies. She is a recognized guide for Ph.D. and M.Phil. at SPPU. Her areas of expertise encompass Embedded Systems, Smart Agricultural Systems, Wireless Sensor Networks, and the Internet of Things. Dr. Ramane is well-regarded by her students for her enthusiasm for teaching and exceptional communication skills, which foster a positive and engaging learning atmosphere.

Dr. Anagha Rajopadhye is a well-known faculty in the Department of Microbiology, Sinhgad College of Science, Pune where she is working as Assistant Professor since 2016. She has almost two decades of experience in research and teaching. She has completed her doctorate in 2011 from Biodiversity Group, Agharkar Research Institute, Pune. She teaches diversified subjects like plant morphology and anatomy, plant physiology, plant biotechnology, cell biology, clinical microbiology, pharmaceutical microbiology, etc. She has been active, sincere and has interest in research in medicinal plant sciences. She has 23 International/International peer reviewed research publications in her credit. She was an active team member of developing about 60 monographs of Phytochemical Reference Standard (PRS) from some Indian Medicinal plants which are published by Indian Council of Medical Research, New Delhi. She participates enthusiastically in a variety of academic activities, demonstrating her managerial abilities. She has served as a trainer and resource member for a number of scientific programs. Numerous events, including IPR seminar, a workshop and FDP on New Education Policy 2020, guest lectures on career advising, multiple study trips, etc., were skillfully planned by her at the institution. In addition to ongoing research activities, she assists many postgraduate students with their internship and dissertation projects. She encourages students to participate in research contests like Avishkar. Dr. Anagha is a well-liked educator, an inventive researcher, a competent administrator, friendly with colleagues, truthful, polite, hardworking, and prepared to assume responsibilities.
