About Authors

Dr. Reena Bharathi, a doctorate in Computer Science, has been in teaching profession for the past 25 years, with a dedicated approach in the chosen field. She is working as a lecturer in Nowrosjee Wadia college, Pune. Her area of interest includes Databases, NoSQL Databases, Big Data, Data Analytics, Operating Systems. It is indeed on her apt to have chosen to write a book on the subject, ‘Database Management Systems’, pertaining to the F.Y.B.Sc.(CS), on which she has an indepth knowledge. It is also a subject which she has been teaching for quite some years with passion.
She had already co-authored a book on ‘Relational Database Management System’ for S.Y.B.Sc. (CS), which has been well received and appreciated by students.

Mrs. Vandana Bhat, a post graduate in Computer Science, has been in teaching profession for past 23 years, with complete dedication.
She has also Completed her M.Phil. degree in Computer Science and published research paper based on “Contemporary Methods of Effective Classroom Teaching.”
The book “File Organization and Fundamental of Databases” is a subject which she has been teaching for quite a few years.
