About Authors
Dr. Vasant B. Kadam is a Professor, Vice-Principal, and Head of the Department of Botany at the Arts, Commerce, and Science College, Ozar (Mig), Nashik. He holds an M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in Plant Physiology. Dr. Kadam has supervised 6 Ph.D. students in Botany and 2 in Environmental Science. He has authored 185 research papers in national and international journals, published 5 patents, and written 17 books.
In addition to his research contributions, Dr. Kadam has served on the editorial boards of 40 research journals and reviewed over 500 research papers. He has evaluated 22 Ph.D. thesis and acted as a referee for 19 Ph.D. candidates across various universities. His current API score stands at 1150. He has received awards for 7 outstanding research papers from different journals and has been a resource person at numerous national and international conferences.
Dr. Shivaji Andhale is presently working as Associate Professor, Head, Department of Botany, K.A.A.N.M. Sonawane Arts, Commerce and Science College, Satana, Dist. Nashik, Maharashtra (Accredited ‘A’ grade by NAAC, Bangalore) affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. Dr. Shivaji Andhale has 20 years of teaching and research experience. After obtaining M.Sc. in Botany from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Auragabad, with specialization Angiosperms, he subsequently received Ph.D. from the same University. His area of research is Phycology and Angiosperm.
He has participated in more than 50 National and International conferences in India and abroad. He has presented more than 40 research papers at various conferences, seminar, and symposia. He has guided 3 Ph.D. student and 35 research papers in National and International journals.
Dr. Sudin C. Dalave is an esteemed researcher and Assistant Professor of Botany at SNJB’s KKHA Arts, SMGL Commerce, and SPHJ Science College Chandwad, Nashik. He has 21 years of research experience and 16 years in teaching, Dr. Sudin has made significant contributions to plant sciences. He has authored 18 research papers and 3 books reflecting his expertise across various domains, including medicinal plants, genetics, plant tissue culture, biochemistry, and the development of transgenic plants. He is recognized scholar in his field, received the prestigious Gold Medal from the Academy of Plant Science in 2006 for his best research paper. His dedication to advancing plant sciences has been further supported by research grants totaling ₹25,60,000 from the Department of Science and Technology (DST) and ICSSR, New Delhi. Additionally, he served as Chief Scientist at Novel Plants in Melacca, Malaysia.
