Dr. Ravindra Kshirsagar is serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Zoology at Modern College Ganeshkhind Pune. He has a teaching experience of more than 20 years at the undergraduate and more than 15 years of teaching experience at the postgraduate level. He is a recognized M.Phil and Ph.D. guide in zoology of Savitribai Phule Pune University.

He has published about 40 research papers in various national and international journals. Under his guidance, 4 researchers completed Ph.D degree and 4 students are completing their Ph.D course. He has published 8 text books for undergraduate students. He is also a member of Board of Studies, Maharashtra State Board Education. He has guided near about 300 teachers in various teacher training programme. Recently, he has received national level Best Innovative Teacher Award from National Academy of Science India-NASI and Savitribai Phule Pune University.
