Dr. Anukriti N. Nigam is a University merit holder in both undergraduate and postgraduate level. She is also a recipient of President Shankar Dayal Sharma's “Gold Medal “at the undergraduate level. She was awarded Ph.D. degree in the year 2004,  in the field of “Applied Aquaculture”. She has sixteen years of teaching experience in the Department of Zoology, Fergusson College (autonomous) Pune.

She was a member of Central Board of Studies (CBOS) constituted by the Government of Madhya Pradesh in 2017. Apart from this, she is also a member of BOS in various Autonomous Colleges. She has presented research papers in several national and international conferences and has also chaired sessions as a key note speaker in National conferences.
